Description
We’re a brand new service bringing together experts from Lancashire County Council and Blackpool Council to help children waiting to be adopted find their family and support you through the adoption process.
As well as mainstream adoption services we also have a Best for Baby and Better Beginnings scheme. These are designed to give the youngest and most vulnerable children a better start in life. This way, children who are taken into care when they are born or soon after are placed with carers. These are prospective adopters who are also approved as foster carers.
Anybody can adopt and we welcome people from all backgrounds and walks of life, whatever their relationship status. If you think you can offer a child a safe and happy home we’d love to hear from you.
