CCS Online Adoption Information Evening – Children of Colour

CCS Adoption, your local independent, voluntary adoption agency in Bristol, is running an online adoption Information Event for people thinking about adoption. Book yourself a place and you can explore adoption, the children who need adoptive families and CCS Adoption – the region’s only Ofsted “Outstanding” adoption agency.

Children of colour, particularly those of black and mixed heritage, are overrepresented in the care system and wait longer than others for a match with adoptive parents. This happens partly because we do not have enough black and mixed heritage adopters. We want to change that. We are really keen to find these children the families they ideally need. So, this event has a special focus on this issue but is open to everyone thinking about adoption, whoever they are.

There will be a short presentation via Zoom with a Q&A session with our adopters and you’ll get to hear about their experiences and find out more about the application process and the support we offer after adoption through our Centre for Adoption Support and Education.

Come and meet our expert adoption team who will be able to answer any questions you might have and tell you more about the lifelong support and training we provide. You’ll find out what the next steps are if you decide that adoption is right for you.
