LGBT Adoption and Fostering Information Session (Slough)

What are the barriers to fostering or adoption? If you thought being lesbian, gay, bi or trans was one of them then you’d be wrong. The most important thing for any child is to be brought up in a loving, nurturing home.

If you would like to find out more about fostering or adoption then come along to our information session and speak to one of our advisors, who will be able to talk through the many different options and answer any questions you may have. You’ll also get the chance to speak to some of our existing foster carers. They’ll give you an honest insight into fostering and will – without prompting – tell you it’s the most rewarding role in the world.

The event is being held during LGBT Adoption and Fostering Week, an annual campaign organised by New Family Social to encourage more lesbian, gay, bi and trans people to consider adopting and fostering. What better time is there to find out more and perhaps even begin what could be an exciting new journey for you?
