Adoption agencies team up for the Big Adoption Day 2017

Adoption agencies throughout England will be holding special information events next Wednesday 29th March to mark The Big Adoption Day. The event, will see Independent Adoption Agencies and Local Authority Childrens Services simultaneously opening their doors to anyone who may be considering building a family through adoption. First4Adoption Head of Service, Gemma Gordon Johnson said “We are happy to support The Big Adoption Day and hope these events encourage people across the country to find out whether adoption is right for them. There are still far too many children without safe and loving homes with a particualr need to find families for those with additional needs and children of black or minority ethnic heritage”.
