These two maps show information from local authority (LA) adoption agencies and voluntary adoption agencies (VAAs) in England. The aim is to encourage potential adopters to come forward and register with an agency.

The maps show how many children were waiting to be adopted in each local authority at 31st December 2014 and other information about adoption agencies. You can adopt a child or children from anywhere in England and become approved by any adoption agency. This is the most up-to-date information on adoption in England.
